Fort Dodge celebrates the successful launch of Fort Dodge Living Magazine

An eventful evening took place Thursday at Olde Bostons in downtown Fort Dodge. Business leaders and friends gathered to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the newest print publication in town, Fort Dodge Living Magazine. Just a week ago on Thursday, December 10th the magazine hit the mailboxes of every address in 50501. The first FREE publication of its kind made its way to businesses and homes all over town.

It was really a celebration for the entire Fort Dodge community. Now every citizen has a way to connect with the community without being required to pay for a subscription based publication. Fort Dodge Living is a local life style magazine with content that is 100% focused on the people, events, organizations, and commerce right here in Fort Dodge. Whether you are looking for the latest calendar local events or want to read human interest stories about your neighbors and friends you will enjoy what the magazine has to offer. The content is purely positive. In fact you won’t find a shred of negative content anywhere in the magazine. There are just too many positive things happening in town!

The magazine gets up close and personal with local experts from health, auto, finance, and insurance. Find helpful tips from experienced professionals who are committed to providing helpful content designed to give you perspective and answers to your questions. Each month the magazine profiles a local church giving you a glimpse of what to expect if you are looking for a place of worship. Read about a local teacher and better yet what the students have to say about their teacher! If you love food, check out a dining review from a local restaurant or find a great new recipe and prepare a meal for yourself. Find out what’s happening at The Fort Dodge Public Library. How can a magazine like this exist without citizens having to pay for it? The magazine simply would not exist without the support from the local business community.
